All By Myself!

I had one of those days that just didn't go well and then all of a sudden I was so happy!! Jude had a night terror - a first for him and he was up at 2 am and said he was scared of the dark and kept looking out the window. We took him all through the house and he was OK. He went back to bed and he wanted his blanket and a lullaby and he went back to sleep. I had to wake him up to go to summer camp that morning and he was still a little attached to me but was excited to go. I dropped him off he said Love You and I left. When I picked him up his teacher said he had a rough morning and that he missed me - this is a first for him. He ran right up to me and hugged me so tight and said I missed you so much mommy! You were all alone and had no one to play with! I could not believe that my 3 year old spent his morning feeling bad that I was alone with out a friend! He went on to tell me that he was alone and I was alone and he wanted us to stay together! I got a little teary eyed and it broke my heart to go to work that night!

Summer Fun!

Kevin Jude and I were over at my parents this weekend a lot because our washing machine BROKE! and with a three year old and our work uniforms there is always a lot of laundry! Sunday was such a pretty day that we could not stay inside while the laundry was working so we headed out side for some good old fashioned fun! By the time we came inside Jude was so tired he had to have his snack laying down!

5 Years and 1 Jude later!

I can't believe it! Kevin and I have hit a milestone! 5 years of wedding bliss!! Hahaha- No it hasn't been that bad -but for our closest friends they know all the dirt that has gone on in the last 5 up and down years! Through out this time we have learned so much about ourselves each other and the joys of being parents. I would not change these 5 years a bit- and here's to many more! I love you Kevin!

A Walk in the Woods

Jude is an outdoor boy who LOVES to be outside, and what's better than just outside? THE WOODS!! We live next to a nature conservancy and it is full of trails and it is so nice to be next to our house but feel far away! Jude has such a great time he looks for all the signs and tells us which way to go. He usually looks for bugs and makes up animals that he see such as Kangaroos and Elephants! It is so great that he is mobile enough to go hiking!

Jude made his first appearance in the news papers (not in the police beat)! My mom took him to a photo shoot for the township, and they picked his picture for an ad in the local papers! It was so great to see him in print, hopefully we will see it again for sports, or academic achievement in the future! The picture is not that great but when I get the proof I will post it!

Lunch Box Mania!

So Jude has to pack his lunch for summer camp, and me being me he had to have a lunch box. Not just any old lunch box but a really cool lunch box! My friend had gotten her son a really cool one out of a magazine,,so the search was on. I went onto lunchboxes.com and found the best assortment of lunch boxes, from star wars to Nirvana! We settled on a Beatles Lunch box and Jude thinks that it is the best thing in the world! It came today so I am so excited!! I can't wait for him to go to camp tomorrow!

Bike Riding 101

We had got Jude a bike for Christmas last year and never got around to trying it out! We were over at my parents and Jude has been riding around the house and had not been outside on it so we thought we would give it a try! Jude has been riding bikes at school so he does well except for the steering part! We got outside and Jude took off down the side hill and crashed on the grass -- after that all he wanted to do was crash his bike so needless to say I am glad we bought the expensive well made helmet!! We may also have him wear it all day because the day he had his 3 year well visit he was trying to be in a circus and tried to stand on a ball and fell back against the wall and was bleeding! I took him early to the doctor and he is fine! Jude also started summer camp and as usual crawled in the water table and went to town! At least everyone knows him he is very popular the director of the camp came over and said how cute and funny he is and that is the first time one of the "bunnies" crawled into the table!
